The final year students at LTS just finished a class on pastoral care. The prescribed textbook for this course was the brilliant book “The Care of Souls” by Pastor Dr. H. Senkbeil. Using a “case study” approach, students were taught how to think and act like a Seelsorger, analyzing examples from Senkbeil’s book, and exploring together how to move from symptom to diagnosis to treatment plan.
